A Family Tradition

From Brian (CEO) - Our family's roots in Alaska are rich with stories of resilience and dedication. My grandpa, on my mom's side, arrived here after bravely serving in the Navy during World War II. He spent his career working for the Alaska Railroad earning the well-deserved title of the "Top Man" in his field upon retirement. He miraculously survived the devastating 1964 earthquake, writing his wife who at the time was in New York saying "we had a little shake, but im alright".

On my dad's side, my great uncle made his way to this beautiful state in the 60s. He was not only a skilled handyman but also a bush pilot, running his own company doing all sorts of plumbing throughout the state.

In addition, my wife's grandfather, who came to Alaska in the 60s, served the community as an APD officer. He witnessed the 1969 earthquake and, after the tremors subsided, uttered the reassuring words to his wife, "I'll be right back," before embarking and dissapereing for two-days to help those in need.

Our family's Alaskan journey is filled with tales of accomplishment. We have uncles who captained fishing and tour boats, aunts who helped introduced the telecom industry to Alaska, and much more.

In the 80s, my dad pioneered the sewer and drain business in the state, laying the foundation for what has become a proud family-owned and operated enterprise.
